<p>Job Description As a Class A Linehaul Driver, you will play a critical role in our transportation and logistics operations. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods within a designated local area, adhering to all traffic laws, company policies, and industry regulations. Your role will contribute to the timely and reliable delivery of products to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction.</p> <ul> <li>4-8pm Start Time, M-F!! </li><li>Mon, Wed, and Fri, take a loaded trailer from our BWI terminal to Breiningsville, PA, swap trailers, and head back! </li><li>Tues & Thurs, take a loaded trailer from our BWI terminal to Bloomsburg, PA, swap trailers, and head back! </li><li>Easy Drop & Hook, No Touch freight!! </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Safely operate and drive a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to transport goods between designated locations within a defined local radius. </li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting any maintenance issues, defects, or damage and promptly reporting them to the maintenance team. </li><li>Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, road regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving practices. </li><li>Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and minimize driving time. </li><li>Interact professionally and courteously with customers and clients during deliveries, ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company positively. </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. </li><li>Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hours of service (HOS) requirements and logbook maintenance. </li><li>Participate in regular safety training programs to enhance driving skills and awareness. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the vehicle and at the delivery sites. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>What do you need to be qualified to drive for XGS?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Valid Class A License:</p> </li><li> <p>Must hold a valid Class A license in order to qualify for this position.</p> </li><li> <p>24 Months Driving Experience:</p> </li><li> <p>If you have a minimum of 24months driving experience, we want to hear from you!</p> </li><li> <p>Age Requirement:</p> </li><li> <p>You must be at least 23 years old to apply.</p> </li><li> <p>Simple Hiring Process:</p> </li><li> <p>Meet our minimum hiring criteria, and you're on your way to joining XGS!
