<p>Wisconsin Management Company (WMC) is hiring full-time Painters in our Maintenance Department, servicing our residential properties in Dane County! Must have valid driver's license and vehicle.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Painter is responsible for painting, finishing, and maintaining a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures under direction of the Service Manager and/or Property Manager. The position will be primarily involved in the painting of apartment turnovers, interior and exterior residential and commercial buildings, and common areas.</p> <p>Principal Duties</p> <ul> <li>Prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch, and paint various materials. </li><li>Operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment. </li><li>Perform drywall repairs, texturing, and spraying. </li><li>May also perform general light manual labor work. </li><li>Comply with all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws regarding health, safety and environment. </li><li>Maintain working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a painting field. </li><li>Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. </li><li>Work under limited supervision. </li><li>Attend meetings, training sessions and seminars as requested. </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Skills/Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Required minimum of one year or more of experience with painting or related area. </li><li>Required to hold a valid driver's license, must have a reliable work vehicle (truck, van, car, etc) and current insurance. </li><li>LEAD CERTIFICATION HIGHLY DESIRABLE. </li><li>Must be available for occasional night/weekend on-call duty with the maintenance department. </li><li>Must have good human relations skills and the ability to work well with others. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Physical capabilities to carry out job responsibilities including the ability to lift 80-100 lbs., stand for extended periods of time, ability to walk, talk and have use of both hands. </li></ul> <p>Schedule</p> <p>Mon-Fri, with some rotating on-call requirements</p> <p>Pay Range: $23-$25/hr</p> <p>Monday thru Friday</p>
