<p>Kforce's client, a leading national CPA firm in New York, NY is currently seeking a Manager/Senior Manager - Assurance to join their growing assurance/audit team in NYC and/or Long Island.</p> <p>Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>Senior Manager will coordinate planning phases of engagements and ensure work is on schedule and generate budgets </li><li>Maintain profitable realization rates </li><li>As a Senior Manager, you will review/evaluate work papers, determine compliance with professional standards and firm policy </li><li>Review reports and financial statements </li><li>Review significant findings with partners </li><li>Manage risk and ensure quality control procedures are being executed </li><li>Senior Manager will have supervision of multiple engagements </li><li>Assume responsibility for billing and collections as needed </li><li>Develop and maintain positive working relationships with client management </li><li>Provide on-the-job training to subordinates </li><li>Generate new business annually from new and existing clients </li><li>Senior Managers represent the Firm by presenting on areas of expertise at 3rd party events* Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li>7+ years of relevant public accounting/assurance experience </li><li>Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)/Tax law knowledge </li><li>Thorough understanding of complex technical issues </li><li>Effective business advisory skills </li><li>Ability to articulately communicate professional/technical knowledge </li><li>Able to identify and execute solutions to problems </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy </li><li>CPA certification preferred </li></ul>
