<p>Residential Therapist</p> <p>Do you have a desire to strengthen children, families, schools, and our communities?</p> <p>Orchard Place is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our residential treatment team serving children and adolescents ages 10-17. Our inpatient program, licensed as a Psychiatric Medical Institution for Children (PMIC), offers a dynamic, team-based care model focused on trauma-informed treatment and recovery. You'll work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing therapeutic services, helping youth heal and prepare for successful transitions back to their home or community settings.</p> <p>As a valued member of the Orchard Place family in this role you will receive:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Starting salary is $50,000. Salary may increase based on experience, education, and post-licensure qualifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Offered Health, dental, vision, and life insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Generous paid time off and 10 paid holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Access to evidence-based practices including EMDR, TF-CBT, and TBRI</p> </li><li> <p>Ongoing training and clinical supervision</p> </li><li> <p>Eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program</p> </li><li> <p>Orchard Place therapists who have received their initial therapy license in the last 12 months or those who are currently in a master's program with one year or less remaining before graduation may qualify for up to $20,000 in student loan forgiveness from Polk County.</p> </li><li> <p>A supportive workplace culture focused on self-care and professional growth</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Provide weekly individual and family therapy sessions </li><li>Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans </li><li>Facilitate group therapy and therapeutic programming </li><li>Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team </li><li>Offer psychoeducation and support to clients and families </li><li>Assist with transition planning and discharge coordination </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Temporary or full license required: LISW, LMHC, LMFT (or LMSW with two years' experience working with youth/families) </li><li>Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills </li><li>Passion for working with children and adolescents in a trauma-informed environment </li><li>Valid Iowa driver's license and acceptable driving record </li><li>Must pass background checks including criminal and abuse registry </li></ul> <p>Criminal, Abuse Registry and Motor Vehicle Records checks completed.</p>
