<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior IAM Cloud Engineer for a fully remote (U.S. only, any time zone).</p> <p>Overview: Our partner is seeking a Senior IAM Cloud Engineer to strengthen their identity and access management posture across cloud environments. This role is critical to protecting sensitive data, modernizing identity processes, and supporting the design, hygiene, and scalability of cloud security controls. As the organization continues to expand its cloud footprint, this engineer will ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access to systems and applications. The position sits within the IAM Architecture team and reports to the IAM Engineering & Architecture leader within the broader Cybersecurity organization.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and identity federation </li><li>Administer and optimize Microsoft Entra ID (primary cloud identity provider) </li><li>Define, configure, and manage Conditional Access policies to support Zero Trust principles </li><li>Assess authentication/authorization baselines and remediate non-standard findings using a risk-based approach </li><li>Support Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) initiatives </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to establish access requirements, user roles, and permissions </li><li>Monitor and audit user activity to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulations </li><li>Drive user lifecycle management (provisioning, deprovisioning, periodic access reviews) </li><li>Maintain and enforce access control policies across systems and applications </li><li>Troubleshoot IAM-related issues and provide technical guidance to stakeholders </li><li>Automate IAM workflows using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) </li><li>Stay current on IAM trends, security best practices, and regulatory standards </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field </li><li>8-10 years of IAM Engineering and Cloud Engineering experience </li><li>Strong expertise with Microsoft Entra, SSO configurations, MFA, and Conditional Access </li><li>Knowledge of security protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and LDAP </li><li>Experience with CIEM, Zero Trust frameworks, and IAM automation </li><li>Familiarity with SIEM platforms and regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) </li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certifications (not required);</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate </li><li>CISSP, CIAM, or other IAM/security certifications </li></ul> <p>Interview Process:</p> <ul> <li>First-round interview with hiring manager and team </li><li>Possible second-round interview with IAM leadership </li></ul>
