<p>The University of Evansville invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach - Men's Basketball. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a competitive NCAA Division I basketball program within the Missouri Valley Conference.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the men's basketball program, including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Practice planning and on-court instruction </li><li>Scouting opponents and developing game strategies </li><li>Recruiting and evaluating prospective student-athletes </li><li>Coordinating team travel and logistics </li><li>Ensuring compliance with all NCAA, MVC, and University rules and regulations </li><li>Building positive relationships with student-athletes, staff, faculty, alumni, and the public </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Collegiate basketball playing or coaching experience preferred </li><li>Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and NCAA rules </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment </li><li>Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or ability to obtain them </li></ul> <p>How to Apply:</p> <p>Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and references via the University of Evansville's employment portal: http://www.evansville.edu/offices/hr/employmentApp.cfm</p> <p>The University of Evansville expects all members of its community to treat each other with respect and civility.
