<p>We are seeking a career-oriented Payroll Clerk to join one of the world's largest furniture manufacturers! The Payroll Clerk is involved in processing Weekly, Semi-Monthly, and Monthly non-exempt and exempt payrolls employees in a multi-state capacity.</p> <p>Work Model - Hybrid - 3 days in-office and 2 days remote</p> <p>Pay - Starting pay rate of $24/hr with room for growth and advancement</p> <p>Benefits - We offer weekly pay, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401k, short-term disability, employee discounts, career advancement opportunities, and so much more!</p> <p>Day in the Life -</p> <ul> <li>Preparing reports and forecasts for senior management </li><li>Ensuring compliance with all compensation and tax regulations </li><li>Process Weekly, Semi-Monthly, and Monthly non-exempt and exempt payrolls employees using multiple company codes </li><li>Review and balance payrolls before and after they have been processed. Validate confirmed reports </li><li>Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll </li><li>Prepare or assist in the preparation of periodic/special reports for government agencies, tax authorities, insurance companies, industry associations, and other units of the Company as required </li><li>Respond to various audit and tax agency queries and requests </li><li>Run reports from time & attendance system and payroll system </li><li>Process accurately employee pay for items including special payments and retro payments </li><li>Researches, analyzes, and resolves payroll related problems or questions by collecting and analyzing information </li><li>Communicate with employees and other departments to answer questions and resolve problems </li></ul> <p>Keys to Success -</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. Accounting related degree is a plus </li><li>At least 3-5 years of payroll processing experience </li><li>Experience using payroll related software.
