<p>Position Title: MAINTENANCE TEAM LEADER</p> <p>Position Summary: This person is responsible to provide leadership and management for the department providing maintenance functions for the facility, including building utility systems, equipment maintenance and building and grounds maintenance. Ensures that the maintenance department objectives are met including project, cost, quality and safety factors.</p> <p>Reports To: Maintenance Manager</p> <p>Accountabilities: Maintenance Team Leader is held accountable for equipment availability and capability. Maintenance Team Leader is accountable for hiring, training and development of a qualified maintenance staff.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible to administer preventive maintenance program </li><li>Maintain work order system for maintenance requests </li><li>Responsible for completion of repairs and projects for: General repairs, safety, breakdowns, hand tools, projects, building, machinery </li><li>Advises shop managers when to replace vs. when to repair and when we need to call in outside experts </li><li>Capital equipment integration </li><li>Determine if overtime is needed to support the plan and assign personnel accordingly </li><li>Advise and assist the maintenance team members with technical support </li><li>Conduct regular team meetings </li><li>Evaluate team members' skill level and performance </li><li>Provide support to team members to help them do their jobs - materials, supplies, instructions etc. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualification Requirements:</p> <p>Educational Experience - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred</p> <p>Experience - Ten or more years' experience in industrial maintenance and proven supervision or management experience preferred</p> <p>Physical Demands - The employee is required to:</p> <ul> <li>stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor </li><li>exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or </li><li>exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or </li><li>exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. </li></ul> <p>Visual Acuity - Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts and machinery.</p> <p>Hearing Ability - Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action.</p> <p>Working Conditions - The employee is subject to:</p> <ul> <li>high noise levels from operating machines </li><li>physical hazards from moving equipment and production components </li><li>breathing fumes, dust and mist </li><li>skin exposure to oils and cutting fluids </li><li>welding flashes </li></ul> <p>The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.</p> <p>Attendance is an essential job function.</p> <p>We are a Proud Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
