<p>Senior Director/VP of Information Technology</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>QuEra Computing is seeking a talent and results-driven global IT leader with extensive experience managing and supporting remote and onsite technical teams, overseeing large-scale networks, systems, and cloud infrastructure, and achieving and maintaining compliance with cybersecurity standards. You should have a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives globally (NA, EMEA, APAC) to align technology with business objectives,</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Spearhead initiatives to implement advanced systems and technologies, aligning IT capabilities with evolving business needs in concert with local office/site requirements. </li><li>Design and deploy proactive IT infrastructure monitoring and management solutions, achieving a significant reduction in service downtime. </li><li>Design, develop, and deploy security technologies and controls, including systems for Security Incident Response, Threat Management, Access Control Management, Security Analytics, Event Management, Network Firewalls, IPS/IDS systems, Vulnerability Assessment, Endpoint Security Controls, and Content Filtering, among others. </li><li>Streamline repetitive processes through simplification and automation, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual effort. </li><li>Oversee and optimize SLAs and KPIs for IT services, systems, and incident management, ensuring consistent delivery of top-tier IT support.in a timely and responsive manner for internal customer requests, crossing multiple timezones </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to define and execute IT strategies aligned with broader business goals. </li><li>Monitor vendor performance and compliance against contractual agreements, driving accountability and service excellence, </li><li>Lead and respond to all affiliated IT specific customer/client requirements, including highly complex customers such as AWS and Governmental entities. </li><li>Oversee relationship management efforts with strategic partners, enhancing service offerings and elevating IT delivery standards. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology or related) and at least 10 years of progressively responsible IT experience, including at least 8+ years in a managerial capacity. </li><li>Demonstrable experience supporting globally distributed teams and individuals (e.g., EMEA, APAC) </li><li>In-depth knowledge of both PC and Mac-based hardware and software and their coexistence and integration </li><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a variety of audiences and stakeholders including, Executive and Senior Management, Business Leaders/Managers and colleagues worldwide. </li><li>An active listener with the demonstrated ability to proactively and confidently engage with global key stakeholders to gain an understanding of the business' evolving IT needs, develop and recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions and explain technology-related issues to non-technical audiences. </li><li>Demonstrated experience developing, leading and supporting an IT vision and direction including demonstrated experience developing long- and short-term strategic IT plans, developing the associated financial analyses and translating budgeted plans into tactical, actionable operational initiatives. </li><li>Demonstrated, hands-on experience as a project manager with strong planning skills, the ability to set and manage expectations and deliver on projects within the committed timeframe and budget. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and resolve conflicts. </li><li>Proven negotiation and supplier management skills </li><li>Exceptional customer service orientation. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing, coaching and mentoring direct reports. </li><li>Travel, if necessary </li></ul>
