Your adventure awaits!</p> <p>SEI Manufacturing, a division of Patrick Industries, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cromwell, Indiana! The Maintenance Technician will need to be proficient in setting up and carrying out preventative maintenance programs as well as addressing immediate needs to keep production running.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Perform general maintenance works to avoid possible failures and malfunctions. </li><li>Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs </li><li>Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner </li><li>Analyze repairs requests and troubleshoot them </li><li>Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed. </li><li>Handle emergency maintenances and repair works </li><li>Stock adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses </li><li>Maintain complete records of daily maintenance activities </li><li>Maintain work area clean, safe and organized </li><li>Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents. </li><li>Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working conditions </li><li>Provide assistance to co-workers when needed </li><li>Perform maintenance tasks based on pictures, blueprints, written descriptions and oral instructions from Supervisors </li><li>Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic devices necessary for routine troubleshooting and repair </li><li>Ability to source required materials/support as needed </li><li>Working knowledge of welding equipment preferred </li><li>Working knowledge of CNC equipment </li><li>Maintain building maintenance and upkeep to include a working knowledge or capabilities for commercial, electrical, and plumbing </li><li>Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor </li><li>Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers </li><li>General computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) </li><li>Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service </li><li>Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices </li><li>High school diploma or GED required </li><li>Associate degree preferred </li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs </li><li>Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone </li></ul> <p>At Patrick Industries, BETTER Together is our commitment to being our best while striving to bring out the best in one another as we join forces Individually, as Teams, with our Business Units, with our Customers, our Communities and within our entire Patrick family.</p> <p>Patrick is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Cromwell, Indiana, US, 46732</p> <p>Work Arrangement: on-site</p> <p>Business Unit: SEI Manufacturing</p> <p>Nearest Major Market: Fort Wayne</p>
