This position is committed to providing a positive first impression with World Class Service. The position requires physical activity including standing, walking, and climbing stairs.</p> <p>This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00-$15.00</p> <p>Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching</p> <p>This position will remain open until March 6, 2026.</p> <p>About the Venue</p> <p>The Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center is a spectacular facility providing excellent meeting accommodations. It features 317,000 gross sq. ft., including a 100,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall, and a unique design with terraces for outdoor functions and breathtaking views of the Mobile River.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Controlling/monitoring entry to the guests' and employees' parking lots </li><li>Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class Service </li><li>Monitoring parking lots for safety and security of guests and employees and vehicles </li><li>Provide guests with directions and other venue information </li><li>Direct guests and employees to available parking spaces </li><li>Ability to maximize amount of vehicles per lot </li><li>Respond to all comments/complaints in a prompt, courteous and professional manner </li><li>Cash Handling-collect cash and/or coupons and maintain security of cash </li><li>Maintain a neat and clean appearance during all scheduled shifts </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior parking experience strongly preferred </li><li>Customer Service and Cash Handling abilities are a must </li><li>Must be polite, friendly and possess excellent interpersonal skills as this position has extensive guest and employee contact </li><li>Ability to multi-task </li><li>Must have reliable transportation </li><li>The ability to work various hours as needed including nights and weekends </li><li>The physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances </li><li>Ability to work outdoors with extreme heat and weather conditions </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds with or without </li><li>Ability to visually observe close, distance, peripheral with or without </li></ul> <p>Strengthened by our Differences.
