Move materials through the company from shipments into the company to the production floor and outgoing shipments.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate forklift, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material safely.</p> </li><li> <p>Load and unload products and supplies.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete Bill of Lading and packing slips.</p> </li><li> <p>Open and close dock doors and dock plates following all safety requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Stage material from the receiving area to the designated storage locations.</p> </li><li> <p>Select and stage products for customer orders at the pack cells.</p> </li><li> <p>Stage packed product from pack cells to the designated area.</p> </li><li> <p>Stage supplies for customer orders.</p> </li><li> <p>Place on hold when necessary to designated hold area.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete all job-related checks.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to Fontana core values: Teamwork, Responsibility, and Trust.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be able to work in a physically demanding role with endurance to stand for up to 8+ hours and lift 70+ pounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Possess math and computer skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Willing to work in a team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>High attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multitask.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to work OT, including weekends, as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>HS Diploma or GED preferred.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>1-3 years working in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution center environment.</p> <p>Must have mobile equipment experience, including stand-up, sit-down fork trucks.</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Work is normally performed in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.</p> <p>Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds regularly and endure frequent standing, bending, twisting, and turning.</p>
