Our service-oriented mission is in action every day, whether it's by providing care in our facilities, training the next generation of health care professionals, or serving others through international outreach.</p> <p>Campus Overview</p> <p>Kettering Health Dayton</p> <ul> <li>Kettering Health Dayton, formerly Grandview Medical Center, has been providing care to Dayton and surrounding communities for over 90 years. </li><li>Over 20 specialties, including orthopedics, heart and vascular, surgery, and trauma services. </li><li>KH Dayton expanded their Emergency Department as well as their heart & vascular services to include an additional catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab. </li><li>Partners with Gem City Market to provide fresh fruits and vegetables every Tuesday within the hospital. </li><li>One of the largest osteopathic teaching hospitals in the United States. </li><li>371 bed facility </li><li>Over the past several years, KH Dayton has received many awards, including: </li><li>Top 100 Hospital </li><li>Patient Safety Excellence Award from Health grades in 2019. </li><li>Received an "A" from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities & Requirements</p> <p>To provide pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, patient's families, and employees of all ages and backgrounds from birth to geriatrics. To serve as a resource for staff and administration in implementing KMCN ministry of healing to the whole person. Chaplains are also sensitive to the spiritual, religious values, believes and practices of persons of all faith, inquiring for continuing spiritual growth and responding to these needs in a respectful and caring manner.
