<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $95,500 to $135,900 per year </li></ul> <p>Position Classification: Program Director (PDII)</p> <p>12-month / 260-day contract</p> <ul> <li>(prorated for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year) </li></ul> <p>Reports To: Assistant Superintendent for Student Services, Chief Financial Officer, and the Superintendent</p> <p>Position Summary: The Pattonville School District is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as the Director of Safety, Security, and Emergency Management. This leadership role is responsible for managing, supervising, directing, and evaluating all safety, security, and emergency management activities within the district.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Visitor Management and Intruder Training:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, manage, and oversee a district-wide secure visitor management system and comprehensive intruder training program. </li></ul> <p>Emergency Preparedness and Crisis/Emergency Management:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain the district-level crisis and emergency guide annually. </li><li>Supports building administrators in developing and maintaining building-level crisis and emergency guides annually. </li><li>Provide expert guidance and support to school/building administrators and School Resource Officers (SROs) regarding intruder/lockdown drills, evacuation, and reunification plans aligned with the intruder training programming. </li><li>Develop and execute ongoing crisis drills and tabletop exercises to enhance district-wide readiness. </li><li>Organize and conduct crisis simulation exercises and training programs for staff and students to ensure they are prepared to effectively respond to emergencies. </li><li>Ensure that all staff are trained in safety drills and response procedures, including, but not limited to, the intruder training response, the Raptor Emergency Management system, and student/parent reunification protocols. </li><li>Serve as the chair of the district's Crisis Action Team (CAT), overseeing emergency management functions to prepare school and district personnel for multi-hazard crisis situations. </li><li>Chair the district safety committee meetings. </li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for crisis training and emergency preparedness plans in collaboration with local authorities. </li><li>Foster relationships with first responder leaders and agencies within the district's community to develop unified communications plans, in coordination with the district chief communications officer. </li></ul> <p>Ongoing Security Audits and Inspections:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct regular security audits and inspections of all district facilities and grounds to assess safety and security measures. </li><li>Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure that security protocols are in place and functioning effectively. </li><li>Submit detailed reports of findings, including recommended repairs and enhancements to improve safety measures, using the district's online building inspection process. </li><li>Help assess the placement, use, and maintenance of school electronic security equipment, such as cameras and door access controls, and ensure that all equipment is in working order. </li><li>Investigate and report incidents involving unauthorized entry, trespassing, parking, loitering, theft, vandalism, property damage, weapons, alcohol, drug use, and other violations of school rules and regulations. </li></ul> <p>Data Analysis and Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Utilize data to assess the effectiveness of safety and security measures, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for safety and security improvements. </li><li>Develop presentations/reports for supervisors and the school board on matters pertaining to school safety. </li><li>Provide written safety and security guidance for building administrators, staff, parents, and students as determined appropriate. </li><li>Work with building administrators to maintain reports on fire drills, tornado drills, and security drills. </li></ul> <p>VIEW FULL JOB DESCRIPTION HERE: https://www.applitrack.com/pattonville/onlineapp/JobPostings/view.asp?FromAdmin=true&AppliTrackJobId=3699</p> <p>You are navigating off of REAP site to the district's posting.</p> <p>OK</p>
