<p>McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Claims Follow-up Specialist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.</p> <p>Responsibilities include: applies insurance carrier guidelines to submit accurate claims for proper reimbursement. Utilizes insurance and billing expertise to resolve denials and patient questions/concerns filtered through Patient Service reps regarding their billing statements and insurance notifications. Reviews documentation and provides response to insurance carriers to assist in resolving denials. Reviews and processes complex record requests from insurance companies. Reviews open claims for correct and timely remittances. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefits package</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma, GED or HiSET </li></ul> <p>Days: Monday - Friday.</p> <p>Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00PM.</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>2 years medical coding experience and insurance claim submission. </li></ul> <p>Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>McFarland Clinic offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 401(k), and PTO.
