For additional questions please contact us at: hrmail@hhcorp.org.</p> <p>Job Role Summary</p> <p>The Healthy Homes Partnership Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic community partnerships to promote countywide childhood lead poisoning preventions activities. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders such as local governmental agencies, nonprofits organizations and community leaders and provide support to community partners. The Healthy Homes Partnership Liaison must collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as environmental health and healthcare professionals to develop and implement strategies to address childhood lead poisoning. The successful candidate must have knowledge of public health practice and community engagement strategies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and program details simultaneously.</p> <p>Associated Job Duties</p> <p>Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, government agencies and other stakeholders to promote childhood lead poisoning prevention activities.</p> <p>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create and implement strategies for addressing childhood lead poisoning.</p> <p>Conduct outreach and education to increase the awareness of potential community partners.</p> <p>Participate in community events to promote the work of the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention program and engage with community stakeholders.</p> <p>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community partnerships.</p> <p>Provide training and technical assistance to community partners.</p> <p>Serve as a liaison between the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention program and the community partners, providing support and guidance as needed.</p> <p>Attend partner meetings, represent the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention program on organization boards participate in work groups where relevant and possible.</p> <p>Participate in relevant meetings, conferences, and other events related to childhood lead poisoning prevention and remain current on emerging issues and trends.</p> <p>Maintain proper documentation in appropriate databases.</p> <p>Maintain knowledge of Marion County Public Health Department services and programs and communicate that information to members of the diverse community.</p> <p>Participate in public health emergency preparedness exercises and in the response to public health emergencies, as directed</p> <p>Participate in a minimum of two Health Outreach Promotion and Education (H.O.P.E.) events totaling a minimum of eight (8) hours annually</p> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree required in public health or related field</p> <p>Indiana issued valid and current driver's license, good driving record, current automobile insurance and access to reliable personal transportation for work purposes.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p> <p>Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and web based.</p> <p>Self-starter capable of working independently.</p> <p>Motivated and able to shift daily work plan as priorities change.</p> <p>Effective coordinator with internal staff and key outside constituents.</p> <p>Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.</p> <p>Professional attire and appearance required.</p> <p>Working Environment</p> <p>This is a driving position and requires a significant percent of work time to be performed outside the base office.</p> <p>Professional settings including health care entities, community organizations and nonprofits throughout the county.</p> <p>Office time includes confined sitting, prolonged computer screen time, and steady use of hands and fingers.</p> <p>Annual health vaccinations are required as a condition of employment.
