<p>Maximum annual salary: $75,000</p> <p>The Academic Support Teacher provides targeted instructional support to students who require additional academic assistance to meet grade-level expectations. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff, the Academic Support Teacher identifies students' learning needs and implements effective interventions and strategies to promote academic growth and success.</p> <ul> <li>Deliver small-group and one-on-one instruction to students in need of academic intervention, primarily in reading, writing, and/or mathematics. </li><li>Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop differentiated instructional strategies tailored to students' learning needs. </li><li>Support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), 504 Plans, or Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies as needed. </li><li>Conduct academic assessments and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. </li><li>Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and educational team members regarding student progress and support plans. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of student support sessions, interventions, and progress. </li><li>Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training related to student support and instructional best practices. </li><li>Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's preferred </li><li>Valid teaching certification/license in MA; or willingness to become certified within 15 months of employment </li><li>Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs </li><li>Certification or training in intervention programs (e.g., Wilson, Orton-Gillingham, Leveled Literacy Intervention, etc.) preferred </li><li>Experience with data-driven instruction and progress monitoring tools </li></ul> <p>Job Category: Student Support</p> <p>Job Type: Full Time</p> <p>Job Location: Springfield International Charter School</p>
