<p>General Purpose:</p> <p>This position serves as a centralized resource for community connection, working closely with the Advancement Department to standardize and strengthen the way Cathedral Home engages with external partners, community organizations, and the public across Wyoming.</p> <p>Responsibilities and essential functions:</p> <p>The following statements describe the duties, responsibilities, and frequency of this Non-Exempt position, outlining the general nature and level of work performed by the employee. These statements are not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required by this position. Cathedral Home will consider reasonable accommodation to help individuals with disabilities perform essential functions effectively.</p> <p>Community Relations and Partnership Building</p> <ul> <li>Liaison between the agency's internal programs and the broader community. </li><li>Build and maintain relationships with schools, pediatric and primary care practices, behavioral health providers, juvenile justice programs, tribal health programs, local nonprofits, and community organizations. </li><li>Foster positive relationships among internal and external stakeholders to promote adolescent health and well-being through community partnerships. </li><li>Represent the agency on community boards, committees, or alliances that support the organization's strategic goals. </li><li>Drive innovation by identifying and pitching new partnership ideas to community partners and leadership. </li><li>May serve as the agency's primary contact with external community organizations. </li></ul> <p>Outreach, Education, and Community Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate outreach and education initiatives for the agency across Wyoming, representing the full range of programs and services. </li><li>Develop and deliver live educational talks and presentations for community audiences, including partner organizations, parents, and families. </li><li>Provide health and wellness content and educational resources to community partners. </li><li>Staff agency tables at community events, health fairs, and professional conferences. </li><li>Support cultural events, mental health fairs, and community initiatives that align with the agency's mission. </li><li>Travel statewide to form and maintain partnerships with community partners, funders, and referral sources. </li></ul> <p>Internal Liaison and Program Support</p> <ul> <li>Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. </li><li>Work closely with internal departments to promote services and youth and family well-being. </li><li>Establishing relationships that improve access to care and mental health outcomes for youth and families. </li><li>Support strategic partnerships with organizations, clients, and stakeholders that share a common mission. </li><li>Assist with proposals, grant communications, and ongoing partner correspondence. </li></ul> <p>Data, Systems, and Organizational Infrastructure</p> <ul> <li>Design and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and listservs to support outreach and partner tracking. </li><li>Create and maintain a youth health advocacy database to support Cathedral Home's community agenda. </li><li>Schedule and coordinate conferences, meetings, and outreach appointments. </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact lists and relationship records. </li></ul> <p>Communications and Content Support</p> <ul> <li>Support maintenance of the content library, external communications, presentations, and web pages with directions from the Advancement Director. </li><li>Assist with the preparation and coordination of written documentation and outreach materials. </li><li>Contribute to social media scheduling, newsletters, and digital communications as needed. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements: Education, Experience, and Background:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 21 years of age at time of hire. </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Clean background and youth abuse registry checks. </li><li>Driving record of no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in any combination in the past three years, and no major moving violations within the past three years. </li><li>Basic organizational skills - calendar management, record-keeping, planning. </li><li>Experience with public presentation development and delivery skills. </li><li>Comfortable with database management and digital tools, including social media, email platforms, and shared drives. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements: Education, Experience, and Background:</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in social work, communications, public health, or a related field is preferred. OR Equivalent experience in community outreach, human services, education, or a related field will be considered instead of a degree. </li><li>Experience with community outreach, human services, education, or a related field. </li><li>Proficient with digital communications tools (Canva, Squarespace, and Constant Contact). </li><li>Familiar with Wyoming's communities, healthcare landscape, or school systems </li><li>Experience working with or on behalf of vulnerable youth populations. </li><li>Effective in developing or delivering community education or public health programming. </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Accountability/Initiative: Proactive attitude and trust in individual competence. </li><li>Adaptability/Dealing with Change: Effectively manages change while maintaining focus. </li><li>Critical Thinking/Problem: Analyzes and evaluates information independently. </li><li>Administration/Documentation: Ensures the accuracy of documentation and plans departmental initiatives. </li><li>Client Health and Safety: Understands safety issues and responds appropriately. </li><li>Compassion/Empathy/Patience: Creates a safe environment tailored to the client's needs. </li><li>Connection/Approachability/Collaboration: Encourages open dialogue and feedback. </li><li>Effective Communication: Communicates clearly and listens actively. </li><li>Integrity/Trust: Models honesty and respect in relationships. </li><li>Personal Learning/Development: Dedicated to self-improvement and professional growth. </li><li>Professional Aptitude: Exemplifies sound judgment and ethical practice. </li><li>Trauma-Informed Care: Applies trauma-informed principles consistently. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <p>This position involves light physical demands, is primarily performed indoors, and has limited exposure to weather changes and temperature fluctuations. The role requires minimal physical activity, including moderate walking, standing, bending, and light-to-moderate lifting. There will be periods of stationary activity and sitting. Travel Requirements: Travel will be required, including walking or working outdoors, which will expose you to the elements.
