Located on 65 scenic acres along the Tennessee River in Louisville, TN, we incorporate nature into our healing approach to create a supportive, peaceful environment.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>HSA & FSA </li><li>Company Paid Basic Life & AD&D </li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan - with company match </li><li>Employee Assistance Program/Employee Discount Program </li><li>Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Paid Orientation/Training </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and implement short-term and long-term plans for the program with staff input in order to ensure ongoing growth and excellence in the educational program. </li><li>Develop the program's mission, philosophy, standards, policies and procedures. </li><li>Provide oversight of the education programs of the facility </li><li>Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation. </li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of cost containment efforts for the program. </li><li>Oversee the selection process of staff based on program's acuity level. </li><li>Maintain a working relationship with local school district personnel to enhance public awareness of the education program at the facility. </li><li>Responsible for the investigation of unusual incidents and grievances and take appropriate action. </li><li>Emphasize and role model the importance of maintaining a therapeutic classroom environment that encourages and supports student's rights. </li><li>Support an environment conducive to professional growth and learning by providing staff development programs to improve competence. </li><li>Participate in interdepartmental activities to improve communication. </li><li>Act as representative and liaison in the community and other service system agency contacts. </li><li>Participate in staff development designed to meet individual professional needs. </li><li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
