<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Bilingual College & Career Readiness Coordinator is responsible for ensuring Enlace Academy students have the resources, experiences, and knowledge necessary to become leaders who choose their futures in high school, college, and beyond. The Bilingual College & Career Readiness Coordinator acts as a liaison between students, families, teachers, and community partners.</p> <p>Essential Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>High School, College & Career Readiness</p> <ul> <li>Create, execute, and monitor a 6-8 high school readiness program with the collaboration of stakeholders to ensure 100% High School placement for 8th-grade students </li><li>Develop strong relationships with local high schools and drive high school and college initiatives such as 21st-Century Scholars and the Starfish Initiatives </li><li>Provide individual and small group advising to students on various topics, primarily focusing on Grades 6-8 for career and college readiness. </li><li>Drive the implementation and execution of advisory, focusing on high school, career, and college readiness in Grades 6-8 to ensure alignment with all Indiana state standards. </li><li>Ensure each student has a graduation plan by the end of 8th grade </li><li>Plan enrichment opportunities to expose students to diverse colleges and careers. </li><li>Track and support Enlace Academy students through their high school and post-secondary education/careers </li></ul> <p>School-Wide Initiatives</p> <ul> <li>Participate in MTSS meetings and support the implementation of tiered supports. </li><li>Host schoolwide and family events related to college and career readiness </li></ul> <p>Family Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate in providing family learning opportunities </li><li>Participates in the weekly school-wide attendance committee. </li><li>Collaborates to provide resources and support to families in need of housing, food, transportation, medical assistance, and mental health. (Pantry assistance, MV status, Shalom, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties</p> <ul> <li>Support with the creation and execution of student schedules </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the workforce </li><li>Knowledge of high school and secondary education options </li><li>Ability to work with students, families, and staff </li><li>Willingness and ability to develop a newly created program </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish or Haitian-Creole) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of related experience </li><li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Guidance Counselor Experience </li><li>Master's in School Counseling or a Mental Health Field </li></ul> <p>NCN Core Values:</p> <p>NCN Equity Statement:</p> <p>The Neighborhood Charter Network is an equal employment opportunity school corporation which strives to deliver educational excellence, equitable access, and quality service to our students and families.
