<p>Rock County, Wisconsin (pop. 160,420) is seeking applicants for the position of Information Technology Director. Rock County is located in South Central Wisconsin along the Illinois border. Janesville, Wisconsin (pop. 63,588) is the county seat. Janesville is located on the I39/90 corridor forty miles south of Madison, seventy-six miles west of Milwaukee and about two hours from Chicago.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Rock County is seeking an experienced Information Technology Director to oversee all County wide IT functions including public safety communications, network operations, telecommunications, programming, user support and the help desk. The IT Director will be responsible for developing network maintenance and growth plans, creating annual and project budgets, managing the IT staff and keeping leadership up to date on the latest networking technologies.
