You'll find several opportunities to grow as a professional, serve the community, and enhance the lives of the seniors.</p> <p>The Role:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the preparation, coordination, and review of supporting schedules for partnership and corporate tax returns - including detailed review of fixed asset ledgers and depreciation lives/methods </li><li>Oversee the preparation of tax computations and schedules </li><li>Oversee the preparation of quarterly tax estimates </li><li>Responsible for responding to notices and correspondence from Federal and State taxing authorities </li><li>Assist with tax planning issues and research on tax issues </li><li>Assist with sales, use and excise tax filing, planning and education </li><li>Assist in analysis of tax consequences of acquisitions and divestitures </li><li>Leads special projects and process improvements that require collaboration with external parties and internal partners </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting strongly preferred </li><li>CPA designation preferred </li><li>Strong technical accounting and tax skills required </li><li>4-6 years of experience in the tax department of a public accounting firm or private company </li><li>Experience in preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills required </li><li>Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills required </li><li>Strong technology skills required, including advanced skills with Excel </li><li>Ability to influence others to achieve results </li><li>Ability to plan, prioritize and execute work activities with numerous deadlines </li><li>Ability to develop and mentor others </li></ul> <p>Why LCS?</p> <p>Industry leader.
