Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.</p> <p>Responsibilities include: The pathology laboratory assistant is responsible for specimen accessioning, preparation and administration assistance in the pathology lab as it relates to specimens, blocks and slides.</p> <p>Education</p> <p>High School Diploma, GED or HiSET</p> <p>Days: Monday - Friday - 10 hours per week</p> <p>Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>On-the-job training provided. </li><li>Some knowledge in human anatomy and/or medical terminology or previous healthcare experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.</p> <p>McFarland Clinic is central Iowa's largest physician-owned multi-specialty clinic.
