This leadership role will oversee all site quality activities and initiatives, providing the necessary leadership to ensure compliance with applicable standards, policies, and procedures.</p> <p>This role is onsite in Coventry, Rhode Island.</p> <p>What you'll be doing as a Sr. Manager Quality Systems:</p> <p>Participates in modification of the Quality organizational structure and is responsible for the development of overall Quality objectives and long-range goals.</p> <p>Acts as a person responsible for regulatory compliance (AS9100) for external Quality Systems Assessment agencies such as Perry Johnston and Bell/Textron Corporate Quality Compliance Auditors and in maintaining site AS9100 certification.</p> <p>Serves as Lead Facility FOD coordinator</p> <p>Manages training of new Quality team members as well as requisite quality training for all RT team members aligned with standards.</p> <p>Develop, analyze, and report on a variety of Quality metrics and PEAM KPI's aligned with AS9100 standards.</p> <p>Support the senior staff and manufacturing managers to continue to implement a culture of continuous safety and quality improvement.</p> <p>Directs the management of staff, including workforce planning, recruitment, skills and performance assessments, workload distribution, training compliance and documentation, professional development, and corrective action.</p> <p>Advises and coaches supervisors and group leaders, and their staff on technical and operational OFI's.</p> <p>Assists in the application of root cause analysis to diagnose and correct OFI's and audit findings.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Skills You Bring to This Role:</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, deal with ambiguity, and innovate new methods and means of obtaining quality conformance results.</p> <p>Experience and/or training in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
