We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 24 years and counting! Over the years, we have grown to be the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the area. We see the "excellence in the ordinary" and everything we do is done with integrity and intention.</p> <p>We love what we do and know you will too!</p> <p>We are currently hiring a 1st Shift Production Associate for our plant in Chambersburg, PA.</p> <p>Our Production Team is vital to creating high quality farm fresh products that is distributed to home delivery and wholesale customers alike.</p> <p>This position reports to the Production Manager and is anticipated to work M-F, 6am start time, with some flexibility to help on other shifts (i.e. come in early or stay later) as requested by management.</p> <p>Duties include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Interpret daily production schedules </li><li>Read, comprehend, and follow standard operating procedures </li><li>Safely operate and monitor processing equipment </li><li>Ensure the Production area is clean, free of hazards and running smoothly </li><li>Machine operation and product packaging </li><li>Ensure that the correct label is placed on the correct product </li><li>Ensure that the correct product is placed in the correct box </li><li>Make sure that the printer is set up correctly with the right date code, and product description </li><li>Help with tear down and cleaning the work area </li><li>Complete end-of-day sanitation making sure the area is clean & prepped for the next day's production </li><li>May assist with documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting as required by law and/or regulatory agencies, (i.e. FDA, OSHA, USDA, etc.) </li><li>Assist in other departments as necessary, and any other duties assigned by management </li></ul> <p>The right person has:</p> <ul> <li>A High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>The motivation to work in a team environment - safely </li><li>A detail-oriented mindset </li><li>Basic math, computation and paperwork completion skills </li><li>The ability to lift roughly 40lbs from ground level to waist high, using proper lifting techniques. </li></ul> <p>Work is performed in warehouse and refrigerated settings; you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while working</p> <p>safely and efficiently. Bending and other physical tasks are required.
