<p>About This Role</p> <p>RGP has a Banking Client looking for an Underwriting Consultant with hand-on experience performing Underwriting Analysis and Counterparty Credit Risk Analysis to evaluate large Financial Institutions and assess Risk associated with financial arrangements between RGP's Banking Client and large Financial Institutions. This role can be filled from a REMOTE location (candidates must reside in the U.S.)</p> <p>What You Will Work On</p> <p>This Underwriting Consultant Role's primary responsibility will be to work through and reduce the RGP Banking Client's underwriting backlog. The role requires the understanding of the CAMELS (the RGP Client's preferred framework for assessing Financial Institutions' soundness) or a comparable Methodology.</p> <p>What You Will Bring</p> <ul> <li>Recent, relevant and strong experience underwriting large Financial Institutions, e.g. Experience in an Underwriting Role within a Financial Institution, assessing Creditworthiness and Counterparty Credit Risk of Large Financial Institutions that the RGP Banking Client partners with. </li><li>Bachelor's or Other Advanced Degree in Related Discipline such as Finance. </li><li>Candidate should be well-versed in various Financial Products (IRD, FX,CRA and Non-CRA Loans, REPOs, BOLIs, Bond Insurance, PMI Insurance. </li><li>Ability to translate NRSRO ratings to internal Bank Rating grids </li><li>Thorough understanding of CAMELS methodology to effectively underwrite Large Financial Institutions </li><li>Ability to quickly determine upgrade and downgrade triggers when making Credit determinations </li><li>Strong Financial Statement Analysis experience </li><li>Strong communication and analytical skills </li><li>Highly-motivated with ability and desire to be self-directed </li></ul> <p>What You Can Expect</p> <ul> <li>Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite. </li><li>Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors. </li><li>Pay Range: IDEALY HOURLY RATE TARGET RANGE IS $65-80 PER HOUR, USD, BUT COMPENSATION VARIES BASED ON EXPERIENCE. </li><li>Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase plan, Professional development program, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required) </li><li>An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies, and qualities that set our team apart. </li></ul> <p>What We Do</p> <p>At RGP, we're creating a future where businesses produce their best work without constraints.
