<p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Supply Chain Process Design / Optimization:</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement improvements in logistics processes for data centers, including rack receiving, warehouse management, spare parts management, reverse logistics, and returns </li><li>Design and implement improvements to reduce lead times, inventory costs, and improve delivery accuracy for products and services </li><li>Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest solutions to enhance the overall workflow </li><li>Investigate implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other logistics software to identify opportunities for improvement to manage inventory and move orders in real-time </li><li>Work on integrating new technologies to automate and optimize logistics processes </li><li>Use data analytics tools to monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data center logistics such as on-time delivery, move order lead times, and inventory management </li><li>Prepare regular reports on process performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement </li><li>Monitor trends in returns and repairs, identifying patterns that may signal product issues or opportunities for improvement in the logistics process </li><li>Design and optimize E2E Warehouse processes and systems </li><li>Oversee the management of spare parts and returned products in warehouses, ensuring proper storage, handling, and inventory tracking </li><li>Implement inventory management systems that provide real-time tracking of parts and returns </li><li>Travel (25-50%) to perform Gemba walk and Go & See improvement observations </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Logistics and Supply Chain Management: In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, distribution channels, and inventory management </li><li>Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics for demand forecasting, system optimization, and process improvements </li><li>ERP and Logistics Software: Proficiency in using logistics-related software such as SAP, Oracle, or WMS </li><li>Problem-Solving: Ability to identify bottlenecks, delays, and inefficiencies in the logistics system and implement solutions </li><li>Project Management: Experience in managing logistics projects, coordinating across departments, and ensuring on-time implementation </li><li>Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with suppliers, dealers, and internal teams </li></ul> <p>Educational Background:</p> <ul> <li>Degree: A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical/automotive engineering, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field </li><li>Certifications: </li><li>Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, ISM), logistics, or SAFe Agile can be beneficial. </li><li>Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from accredited institution (ASQ or similar) </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>7-10 years in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably within the data center industry </li><li>Experience with large campus data center logistics operations is highly advantageous </li><li>Experience with logistics software and tools used in the industry </li></ul>
