<p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operate an E-Crane to handle bulk materials such as scrap metal, coal, aggregates, or other heavy materials. </li><li>Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure optimal functionality and report any issues promptly. </li><li>Load and unload cargo safely, adhering to established weight limits and operational protocols. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and material flow. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of material movement and crane operations. </li><li>Follow all company and industry safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. </li><li>Perform basic maintenance on the E-Crane as needed, including lubrication and cleaning </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an E-Crane Operator or similar heavy equipment operator role. </li><li>Valid certification or license for crane operation (if required by state or local regulations). </li><li>Strong understanding of crane controls, hydraulics, and material handling techniques. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret load charts and technical documents. </li><li>Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. </li><li>Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA standards. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit for extended periods while operating machinery. </li><li>Capable of lifting materials up to 50 pounds as needed. </li><li>Willingness to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience operating cranes in industrial or port settings. </li><li>Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques for heavy machinery. </li><li>Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. </li></ul> <p>Carver Companies is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local laws.</p> <ul> <li>Employment is at-will, meaning either the employee or the company may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or notice, except as provided by law. </li><li>Salary disclosure is in accordance with New York State wage transparency laws. </li></ul>
