The successful candidate will assist in maintaining studio and broadcast systems under the guidance of senior engineers, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations across live radio studios and supporting infrastructure.</p> <p>Broadcast Infrastructure Support Technician Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Studio and Operational Support: Provide basic technical support for live broadcast studios (on-site and remote)</p> </li><li> <p>System Support (Guided):</p> </li><li> <p>Perform basic system checks and monitoring using existing tools and dashboards</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with software installs, updates, and reboots on workstations and supported systems</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshooting (Tier 1):</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and resolve common, repeatable issues using runbooks</p> </li><li> <p>Gather logs and details for escalation to senior engineers</p> </li><li> <p>Infrastructure and Equipment Tasks:</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the installation and decommissioning of broadcast and IT equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Support cabling, patching, and physical infrastructure work</p> </li><li> <p>Project Work:</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct project work, including cable installation, equipment installation, room surveys, inventories, and documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with schematic drawings and cable schedules/wirelists</p> </li><li> <p>Ticketing and Communication: Create and update incident tickets (ServiceNow or similar)</p> </li></ul> <p>Broadcast Infrastructure Support Technician Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Understanding of:</p> </li><li> <p>Windows and/or macOS systems</p> </li><li> <p>Basic networking concepts (IP, switches, connectivity)</p> </li><li> <p>Audio/video signal flow (preferred but not required)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow technical documentation and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Basic familiarity with IT systems, AV equipment, or broadcast environments preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with cable and equipment documentation using MS Office/Google Docs.</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to (or willingness to learn):</p> </li><li> <p>Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)</p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring tools (e.g., dashboards/log viewers)</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft Office / Google Workspace</p> </li></ul> <p>Shift:</p> <ul> <li>6 am-2:30 pm Pacific Time (preferred) or 2 pm-10:30 pm Pacific Time. </li></ul> <p>#PP</p>
