This position requires good knowledge of the rotorcraft avionic installations as well as the standard aeronautical electrical installation design procedures. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, supporting assembly and fabrication of all AWPC helicopter lines, with problem solving in fit/form/function questions and technical issues coordinating the solution within the LH design dept. Design Engineer is also responsible for drafting or review of electrical installations for helicopter customizations and completions, in compliance with EASA and FAA regulations, using the applicable design tools (Capitol Logic - CATIA V4/V5 - SAP - Kisters).</p> <p>Main related tasks are:</p> <ul> <li>Absolving day-to-day activities of sustaining engineering team accomplishing the goals and objectives established by the Design Engineering Manager </li><li>Drafting, modifying and releasing technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, interface documents and test procedures. </li><li>Support Manufacturing Engineering by coordinating new electrical design changes to be injected into Production environment. </li><li>Support Production Engineering in troubleshooting fit/form/functional issues during aircraft build-up. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Specifically describe the essential duties and responsibilities in order of estimated percentage of time that is spent on each). </li></ol> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>% of</p> <p>Time</p> <p>1.</p> <p>Support flight line and production line giving solution for the non-conformities to meet the aircraft delivery plans</p> <p>35</p> <p>2.</p> <p>Preparation and modification of technical document (NI, CR, PP, Wiring Diagrams)</p> <p>35</p> <p>3.</p> <p>Design Engineering liaison for manufacturing</p> <p>20</p> <p>5.</p> <p>Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned</p> <p>10</p> <p>TOTAL:</p> <p>100%</p> <ul> <li>Qualifications for Position: </li></ul> <p>A. Education</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), or equivalent</p> <p>B. Experience</p> <p>Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering environment, preferably aerospace.</p> <p>Combination of education and/or experience which would permit performance of essential</p> <p>duties and responsibilities.</p> <p>C.
