The position will be responsible for the direct oversight and operations of a small team of technicians who perform maintenance, repair, replacement, and modernization of HVAC systems in order to achieve regulated climatic conditions. The ideal EMI HVAC Field Services Manager is EPA Universal Certified, has chiller and DDC/Controls experience, and has the skill level to teach, train and supervise as well as the ability to make repairs on a variety of HVAC systems.</p> <p>This is a supervisory role responsible for the training and leadership of HVAC Technician I and General Maintenance workers. On-site support is required 5 days a week.</p> <p>Salary</p> <p>$120,000 to $150,000 (DOE) plus employer paid health benefits *potential for annual performance bonus</p> <p>See ALL the fantastic benefits you receive as an employee of EMI below!!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and train a small team of subordinate HVAC positions </li><li>Work on air-cooled chillers, pumps and water systems, and VRF systems </li><li>Test input & output for voltage on building systems sensors/activators </li><li>Work on units including: split package, residential style, and up to light commercial, mini-splits, VAV's and AHUs </li><li>Use a multi-meter to check voltage amp </li><li>Use a torch for brazing </li><li>Prepare work orders and cost materials estimates </li></ul>
