<p>Summary of Position</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician II independently performs complex electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of plant equipment, systems, and machinery panels. This role completes assignments across multiple production lines with minimal supervision.</p> <p>Functions Of The Position:</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshooting & Repairs Independently troubleshoots, repairs, and performs advanced electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment, systems, and machinery panels. </li><li>Preventive Maintenance Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment, using appropriate hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently. </li><li>Fabrication Fabricates necessary parts as needed to support equipment functionality and minimize downtime. </li><li>General Maintenance Support Assists with additional building maintenance or repair activities as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education, Experience, and Knowledge</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required.</p> </li><li> <p>Five or more years of experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced knowledge of electrical components and wiring.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 volts.</p> </li></ul> <p>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</p> <ul> <li>None required. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Competencies</p> <ul> <li> <p>Advanced mechanical skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work from extended heights.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work on elevated platforms.</p> </li></ul> <p>JBSS is an Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or status as a protected veteran.</p>
