<p>This position reports on-site.</p> <p>Summary: This position is responsible for generating new deposits, commercial and real estate loan sales volume through new and existing profitable individual relationships in a dynamic fast-paced, goal-oriented sales environment. Responsible for attaining established individual sales and referral goals through active sales efforts as specified in the business plan, as well as performing on-going portfolio management. A significant percentage of the position's compensation is derived from sales commissions.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understand and comply with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position </li><li>Generate profitable commercial and individual sales volume derived from the Bank's client base, new clients and other referral sources; see Attachment-A for annual goal amount </li><li>Identify, acquire, and grow new business and personal deposit balances, and expanded business relationship opportunities </li><li>Prospect new business opportunities by consulting with individuals and business owners to provide financial solutions including, trust banking and insurance services provided by the Bank and to identify referral opportunities for First Foundation Advisor services </li><li>Assess, profile, and analyze structures and negotiates terms and prices for Deposit requests </li><li>Present for credit approval loans that meet the Bank's financial and risk guidelines based on risk and value of the relationship to the Bank </li><li>Propose to all clients' customized packages of financial products and services to diversify their use services provided by the Bank </li><li>Manage each client's personal and/or business requests efficiently from origination through booking </li><li>Work in a proactive manner with all First Foundation Affiliates, Bank Affiliates and Bank staff to identify referrals to affiliates of First Foundation to accomplish its goal of meeting the client's needs with multiple products and services from all Affiliates </li><li>Grow relationships in portfolios under his/her management; perform ongoing portfolio management </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: The salary range budgeted for this position represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The compensation offered to a candidate may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.</p> <p>Geographic Location:</p> <ul> <li>Irvine, CA: $89,200 - $120,000 (Annually) </li></ul> <p>Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a First Foundation Inc. position. Currently, we cannot sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an Employment Visa.</p> <p>Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</p> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred; or combination of education and experience </li><li>Minimum 5 to 7 years of related sales experience to individuals and businesses with a proven track record of exceeding sales expectations </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Must have exceptional sales, analytical, and business development skills </li><li>Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Working knowledge of interpretation of financial statements applied to business accounting and finance principles </li><li>Working knowledge of business finances; demonstrated understanding of small business operations and financial consulting </li><li>Knowledge of banking products/services required </li><li>Excellent interpersonal relationship, presentation, and communication skills </li><li>Proficient in Windows-based software </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
