<p>The Movement, Imaging, & Rehabilitation Laboratory in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science is seeking a Clinical Trial & Data Management Research Associate. Flexible work arrangements within the state of Iowa may be arranged with approval from IRRC.</p> <p>Duties to include:</p> <ul> <li>Schedule visits and collect patient reported outcomes and function via telehealth for clinical research </li><li>Collect clinical data (e.g., pain, imaging, function, blood samples) in a laboratory setting </li><li>Communicate with participants over the phone, email, telehealth, and in-person </li><li>Screen, recruit, enroll and obtain informed consent for clinical research participants </li><li>Track study participant data and study procedures </li><li>Manage databases, including Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap), to generate queries, reports, exports, and other data as needed </li><li>Assist with IRB applications and modifications </li><li>Work in a team environment and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, and learners. </li></ul> <p>Percent of Time: 50%</p> <p>Staff Type: Professional & Scientific</p> <p>Type of Position: 1 Year Specified Term. May be eligible for renewal.</p> <p>Pay Grade: 4A</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>An advanced degree beyond a B.S. or B.A., such as DPT or PhD, in rehabilitation or a related field </li><li>Six months to one year of experience working in research and/or in a clinical field </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with positive interpersonal skills </li><li>Demonstrates high attention to detail with strong organizational skills </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with human subject research that includes Institutional Review Board, Recruitment, and Patient-Reported Outcomes </li><li>Experience with qualitative analysis and/or quantitative statistical analysis </li></ul> <p>Hybrid within Iowa: This position is eligible for a combination of on-campus and remote work within Iowa. Work arrangement options will be discussed during the hiring process.
