Cohen Military Family Clinic at Alaska Behavioral Health provides confidential, high-quality behavioral healthcare services and local resource connection to post 9/11 veterans (including National Guard and Reserves), their families, active-duty service members and the families of active-duty service members, which includes spouse or partner, children, parents, siblings, caregivers, and others.</p> <p>The Clinician will work as a part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. They will receive state-of-the-art training, clinical supervision, and support to provide the most effective, scientifically supported, evidence-based treatments available for to children, youth, adults, and families. We engage clinicians in continuous professional development to improve their clinical practice, learn new treatments, and achieve excellent patient outcomes.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy to patients, with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatments </li><li>Perform and document patient's screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress, and referral information </li><li>Conduct clinical intake assessments on veterans and family members as needed </li><li>Collaborate and coordinate with the caregiver, physician, director, case management and all other disciplines to provide the best care to patients as needed </li></ul> <p>Good To Know</p> <ul> <li>Position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska </li><li>Full-Time, Exempt </li><li>Pay Range is between $72,310 and $93,579 a year depending on experience </li><li>Position is eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 10% of your annual salary </li><li>Student Loan Repayment and Tuition Assistance is Available - Professional Growth is encouraged! </li><li>Clinicians participate in regular individual and group supervision and are provided with additional training opportunities as part of our professional development plan. </li><li>AKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children, Five (5) weeks of PTO for the first year; eight (8) weeks of PTO after the first year. PTO is used for company recognized holidays. 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 4% automatically contributed by AKBH. </li></ul> <p>What We Need from You</p> <ul> <li>You have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited psychology program, or a Master's degree in social work and licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or a Master's degree in counseling and licensed to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); or a Master's degree in marriage and family therapy and licensed to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). </li><li>You have knowledge in DSM-IV/DSM-V diagnoses and experience in PTSD diagnoses and treatment. </li><li>You have experience working with military populations and/or Veterans (not a dealbreaker, but strongly preferred!) </li></ul> <p>Alaska Behavioral Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
