<p>Description</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>The Assistant General Manager is the on-site department leader responsible for CAM and Front Desk performance for an operation supporting 113 associations.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the GM with scheduling, correspondence, and meeting preparation </li><li>Maintain and organize documents, reports, and records </li><li>Act as a liaison between the GM and staff, clients, and partners </li><li>Support project planning and execution, including tracking deadlines and deliverables </li><li>Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries as needed </li><li>Attend meetings and take accurate notes or minutes </li><li>Manage special assignments or research tasks as directed by the GM </li><li>Help ensure compliance with company policies and procedures </li><li>Provide general administrative support as required </li><li>Assisting GM with onboarding new Staff </li><li>Cover CAM Portfolio as needed </li><li>Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards. </li><li>Always conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct. </li><li>Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. </li><li>May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain a specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines. </li><li>Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work. </li><li>Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management. </li><li>Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in property Operations, Hospitality, or Construction </li><li>Bachelor's degree in business or related field </li><li>Must be Certified and Licensed by the State of Florida for Community Association Management (CAM) </li><li>Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary. </li><li>Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows required. </li><li>Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information. </li><li>Knowledge and ability to apply Florida Statutes and Community documents. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. </li><li>Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing. </li><li>Required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time. </li><li>Talking on the phone for extended periods of time. </li><li>Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. </li><li>On-call 24/7. </li><li>Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends based on project requirement. </li><li>Driving when necessary. </li><li>Ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Yes </li></ul> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm</p> <p>What We Offer:</p> <p>As a full-time associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and Vision. In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match.
