<p>"Job Summary</p> <p>St. Christopher's Hospital for Children</p> <p>The ideal candidate would have 5 years of pediatric hospital inpatient experience</p> <p>A Speech-Language Pathologist per diem candidate will be responsible for the assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, re-assessments, and discharge planning of patients referred for Speech-Language Therapy as well as Swallow Evaluation and treatment. The Speech-Language Pathologist will also participate in program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity improvement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. This position is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients who persistently demonstrate communicative deficits in any modality: speaking, listening, reading, and/or writing. This position is also responsible for any patient who has difficulty managing his/her secretions or in swallowing.
