Come build your career with us!</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>Responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital Mission, Vision and facility goals, and performance improvement programs. The administrative director identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. Position responsibilities will include both strategic and operational oversight for the congenital heart service line. The Administrative Director will play a vital role for the direct nursing care units, but additionally will have oversight for other areas that directly impact congenital heart service line including cath lab, EP lab and CVOR. This position will require the candidate to have nursing operations experience combined with a high level of business acumen and executive presence to support aggressive growth activities including strategic planning and physician relationship development and programmatic development in partnership with the Senior Leadership team and Physician Medical Directors. Responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing, delegating, directing and evaluating pediatric cardiac services delivered by Rocky Mountain Children's, including in the ICU as well as other clinical departments, and potentially any future units which may be developed, based on the hospital mission, vision and facility goals related to the care of congenital heart program. Engagement and programmatic leadership for the adult congenital heart program. Collaborates and coordinates with other department leadership, for the functions and activities of nursing care performed in the above-mentioned areas in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards, and administrative policies. Maintains effective communication. Develops and recommends policies, procedures or programs to improve or enhance the quality, efficiency and/or effectiveness of patient care within the specialty area in collaboration with medical staff and other disciplines. As a member of the Rocky Mountain Children's Hospital team, the employee makes a significant contribution to the public's perception of the hospital. Performs additional tasks/activities as assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in nursing required. </li><li>Master's Degree in Nursing </li><li>MHA or MBA preferred. </li><li>Five (5) years' experience in management, preferable in a hospital setting with experience to include management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, and physician relations </li><li>General acute pediatric and pediatric critical care preferred. </li><li>Current RN license in the State of Colorado or compact license • American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross BLS. Revised 2/2019 </li><li>Certification in clinical specialty or leadership, highly preferred.
