<p>R10067595 Warehouse Associate (Open)</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Youngstown, OH - Retail shop</p> <p>How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?</p> <p>The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the safe and orderly stocking, storing, and labeling of all incoming materials and supplies at the location's warehouse for future redistribution. This position will additionally be responsible for the picking, packing and distribution of materials and supplies for delivery via outside carriers or local Airgas drivers to the customer's location.</p> <p>In particular, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Stocks, stores, labels, picks/packs and distributes materials and supplies.</p> </li><li> <p>Validates delivery of materials and provides a physical receipt.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs periodic inventory of warehouse materials as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Organizes and controls site warehouse inventoried items.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews incoming and outgoing product invoices per Company policy.</p> </li><li> <p>Safely operates a forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse/material handling equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows appropriate Company policies and procedures (SOPs) as they relate to distribution, safety, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs general site housekeeping duties as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Are you a MATCH?</p> <ul> <li> <p>HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Two years of prior experience in warehouse operations or warehouse maintenance experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong background in gas, welding and safety supply industry or chemical industry preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience operating a forklift preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-oriented.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to problem-solve.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to operate a fork-lift.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to talk, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch.</p> </li><li> <p>Specific vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus objects.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have the ability to routinely lift 25-50 lbs., occasionally lift 51-80 lbs., and occasionally move with the aid of material handling equipment up to 800 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires frequent standing, bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to work overtime as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Work space is one that contains moving mechanical parts and risk of electric shock.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires both indoor & outdoor environments in various seasonal weather conditions.
