<p>Department</p> <p>University Business Administrators - College of Law</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for managing administrative & departmental human resource functions at the College of Law including recruiting, hiring, I-9's, onboarding, personnel actions, position description changes/updates, evaluations, time & leave, FMLA, & workers compensation. Manages active appointment reports, spreadsheets, and payroll cost center reports, ensuring accurate data. </li><li>Responsible for researching and initiating processes required to correct errors and ensure proper payroll payments. Maintains department personnel files in compliance with Federal, State, and University laws, policies, and guidelines and serves as records custodian during position searches. </li><li>Interprets, recommends and implements policies and procedures with the deans and management personnel to ensure adherence to federal, state, university, and college laws, rules, policies. Responsible for ensuring HR compliance at the College of Law. Serves as a resource for College of Law supervisors to ensure they have a good understanding of the University policies and procedures. Guides and advises supervisors through the recruiting process. </li><li>Manages appointment spreadsheets and provides regular rate management staffing reports to college leadership to track faculty and staff rate. </li><li>Serves as liaison and interacts with fiscal, human resource, academic personnel, and administrators throughout the College and University. Serves as back-up Purchasing Rep and P-Card holder the College. Serves as a backup FACET representative. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience.
