To drive school improvement in Title I schools by providing instructional support and targeted coaching to instructional leaders.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborates & supports the school administration in planning, designing, and implementing school improvement processes.</p> </li><li> <p>To provide support and guidance to drive school improvement for instructional leaders using the components of the Louisiana Leader and Educator Rubric and Coaching model, to include:</p> </li><li> <p>Attend and provide feedback for instructional leadership team meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Attend and provide feedback for teacher collaboration meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and provide feedback on instructional coaching plans</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor instructional leadership team meetings and teacher collaboration meetings to ensure alignment to school improvement goals and instructional coaching plans</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in planning/designing and facilitating effective professional learning opportunities for instructional leadership teams</p> </li><li> <p>Collect, analyze, and monitor district data in order to evaluate the effectiveness of purchased programs and instructional materials</p> </li><li> <p>Collect, analyze, and monitor district data in order to drive instructional decisions and improve student learning.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervises federal programs (Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, the Education Excellence Fund, and any other designated grants) to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures communication of Federal Programs to employees and the public.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with principals and curriculum/instructional supervisors to make decisions on the expenditures to be placed in the e-grants management system.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists and coordinates with district staff in the formulation and updating of a comprehensive accountability plan to lead the school improvement process in the district.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes all reports required by Federal Programs and assigned grants.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with supervisors and principals in the selection, production, utilization, and evaluation of instructional materials and programs for assigned grade levels, paid for through federal funds</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares various statistical and other reports to meet state and federal requirements relative to Federal Programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with the coordination of after-school and summer remediation programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with monitoring district programs and initiatives that are funded through Federal Programs</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees, identifies, and manages the Homeless Program</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps current on federal and state regulations and guidelines for all Federal Programs and assigned grants</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with all approved school board policies</p> </li><li> <p>Performs any additional duties assigned by the superintendent and/or evaluator</p> </li></ul> <p>PROFESSIONAL ETHICS</p> <ul> <li>Maintains good attendance. </li><li>Reports to work on time. </li><li>Displays professional ethics on and off duty. </li><li>Adheres to all Iberville Parish School Board policies </li><li>Reports job-related injuries within 24 hours of a work accident to the immediate supervisor. </li><li>Supports the principal in the day-to-day operation of the school. </li><li>Supports school administration. </li><li>Assists with the implementation of emergency procedures. </li><li>Supports Principals in encouraging parents/caregivers to become active partners in their children's education and to become involved in school. </li><li>Seeks and maintains a positive attitude of promoting school and community relations. </li><li>Participates in and promotes harmonious working relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and community members. </li><li>Attends meetings as directed. </li><li>Serves on task force and decision-making committees, when appropriate. </li><li>Develops and implements an Individual Growth Plan annually. </li><li>Keeps abreast of current educational trends through staff development and professional organizations. </li></ul>
