With previous experience in the industry, you'll lead troubleshooting efforts, and mentor Automation Technician I colleagues.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Uses advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair mechanical problems. </li><li>Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings. </li><li>Minimize downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative and predictive maintenance. </li><li>Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment issues. </li><li>Mentor and train Automation Technician I colleagues. </li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs. </li><li>Update technical documentation and standard operating procedures. </li><li>Collaborate with engineering teams on design changes and upgrades. </li><li>Document maintenance activities and repairs. </li><li>Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards. </li><li>Travels up to 85% </li><li>Must currently have a valid license or passport </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2 years working in material handling industry preferred or equivalent industry experience </li><li>experience with CMMS platform a plus </li><li>2 years industry experience or equivalent. </li><li>Familiarity with material handling equipment and PLCs </li><li>Familiarity with material handling equipment and knowledge of function </li><li>Working knowledge of handheld and power tools </li><li>Basic knowledge of PLCs and motor control </li><li>Advanced ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, moderate electrical, and controls defects </li><li>Advanced ability to interpret both mechanical and electric drawings and schematics </li><li>Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented </li><li>Knowledge of safe industrial work practices </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Customer service orientation </li><li>Ability to work in and contribute to a team setting </li><li>Intermediate computer skills including MS Office </li><li>Follow maintenance manuals and procedures to repair equipment </li><li>Ability to guide and teach Automation Tech I </li><li>Support SOP creation and technical documentation </li><li>Ability to assist in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all material handling equipment and components a plus </li><li>Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language </li></ul> <p>Job Posting Min Salary</p> <p>Job Posting Max Salary</p>
