<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Provides leadership and direction in Customer Experience and CAD/CAM Drafting team in accordance with customer requirements while supporting all aspects of the product line. Manages the day-to-day operations and interactions with other Midmark departments.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Guides staff to communicate with customers to support promotions, quote and design support, and product changes </li><li>Coordinates activities to improve efficiencies within the team. Tracks and posts updates of improvements </li><li>Maintains a positive and creative work environment </li><li>Develops, evaluates, and improves quoting and manufacturing methods </li><li>Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design to ensure efficient production methods </li><li>Confers with management staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to efficiently facilitate production processes to support the sales team </li><li>Provides direction of layout and design to the CAD/CAM Drafting team to ensure product is both able to be manufactured, and engineered to best fit the intended functionality of the design </li><li>Provides support to manufacturing to ensure product is fabricated and assembled based on design </li><li>Coordinates price increases, literature changes and new product information with Advertising, Product Managers, and Customer Experience </li><li>Provides input for strategic planning and sales forecasting </li><li>Interfaces with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions </li><li>Supports corrective action and continuous improvement themes for the team to improve efficiencies within our facility </li><li>Works with other Midmark departments, including outside sales force where necessary to resolve conflicts and resolve customer problems </li></ul> <p>SECONDARY DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Reports facility wide metrics for quality, OOBF, Discounts, Warranty, etc. </li><li>Assists Customer Experience and CAD/CAM Drafting team when in a behind condition </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred. 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:</p> <ul> <li>High level of business acumen and comfort working in a cross-functional environment. </li><li>Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills with ability to influence. </li><li>Strong analytical capability with demonstrated adeptness at problem-solving and ability to not only view details but also understand big picture implications. </li><li>Flexible, detail oriented and able to quickly act under pressure and meet deadlines. </li><li>CAD experience desired. </li><li>Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills required (Advanced excel preferred). </li><li>Knowledge of 2D and 3D software. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Leads and directs the work of other teammates and typically has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions. </li></ul>
