Data syncs (transmits) information on the same day, if applicable. </li><li>Advises and consults with the family, inter-intradisciplinary team members, physicians, and other professionals, as appropriate, to ensure optimal patient care. </li><li>Provide physical therapy services and participate in the development of a physical therapy plan of treatment, including modalities, frequency, and treatment in collaboration with the referring physician for patients from birth to geriatrics to assist patients in obtaining maximum functional independence within the standards of physical therapy. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Graduate of a Physical Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association; or Is eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Physical Therapy Association; or Two (2) years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist, and has achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service, except that such determinations of proficiency do not apply with respect to persons initially licensed by a State or seeking initial qualification as a physical therapist after December 31, 1977 required.</p> <p>One (1) year of Physical Therapy experience to practice without supervision or less than one (1) year if practicing under supervision, i.e., ALF/PCH, required</p> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <p>CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire</p> <ul> <li>Automotive Insurance </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) </li><li>Driver's License </li><li>Physical Therapist (PT) </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
