Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more.</p> <p>Plant Operations goal is to keep the hospital, medical office building and Eunice Smith Nursing Home infrastructure in good working order. The Plant Operations department performs routine repair and maintenance, completes work orders for repairs, maintai</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Role Purpose</p> <p>Provides the necessary skill for operation and maintenance of the physical plant systems in a manner to ensure safe operation, optimum performance, and maximum efficiency and all other duties as required. Provides the most difficult repairs and overhauls on any of the mechanical equipment in any facility in the system.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Keeps equipment clean and operational. Handles and disposes of hazardous and or infectious waste properly and practices infection control.
