<p>Apply your experience working with individuals on the road to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction at BHN!</p> <p>Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Recovery Specialist Supervisor in the Carlson Recovery Center program at Behavioral Health Network!</p> <p>This position provides oversight for the overnight Recovery Specialist staff across multiple inpatient residential recovery programs across Hampden County.</p> <p>Your experience, knowledge, and skills will support the Carlson Recovery Center program with the following:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting the growth, independence, and safety of the individuals served. </li><li>Providing support and guidance as a role model to others, as needed. </li><li>Providing crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed. </li><li>Assisting in staff selection, resolving personnel issues, and scheduling and coaching/counseling of employees. </li><li>Collaborating with nursing leadership to identify educational and clinical needs of the recovery specialist staff. </li><li>Overseeing the medication room with the staff working on medication needs for each program. </li><li>Facilitating the development and implementation of educational programs, as needed. </li><li>Conducting routine facility checks to report any program-specific safety and maintenance concerns. </li><li>Completing program specific forms, documentation, and progress notes in the Electronic Health Record in a timely and thorough manner. </li><li>Completing individually assigned responsibilities, such as room checks, house laundry, etc. </li><li>Participating in the on-call rotation of supervisory staff, as indicated. </li></ul> <p>Who are we?</p> <p>The Carlson Recovery Center in Springfield, MA is a 32-bed Acute Treatment Services program that serves those 18 years of age and older who are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction and are at the beginning stages of their recovery.
