<p>Description</p> <p>Title: Instructor (I2) in Marketing</p> <p>Position Number: Pending</p> <p>Hiring Unit: Shidler College of Business - Marketing Department</p> <p>Location: University of Hawaii at Manoa</p> <p>Date Posted: 05/30/2025</p> <p>Closing Date: 08/31/2025</p> <p>Salary Information: Commensurate with qualifications and experience</p> <p>Monthly Type: 9-Month</p> <p>Tenure Track: Non-Tenure</p> <p>Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time</p> <p>Temporary/Permanent: Permanent</p> <p>Funding: Special Funds</p> <p>Other Conditions: (if applicable)</p> <p>This position is full-time, non-tenure track, anticipated beginning Spring 2026 or Fall 2026, subject to position clearance and availability of funds.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Teach undergraduate level courses in marketing and other areas as needed, including those delivered through distance education. </li><li>Work with students in field-based settings and/or case competitions. </li><li>Participate in accreditation and program assessment activities as needed. </li><li>Participate in collaborative relationships with partnership schools. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree from an accredited institution, with an emphasis on marketing or a related field as evidenced by transcripts. </li><li>Evidence of University-level teaching ability as indicated by student evaluations for University-level courses taught within the last five years. </li></ul> <p>Desirable Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Doctorate degree from an accredited institution, with an emphasis in marketing or a related field as evidenced by transcripts. </li><li>Experience and expertise in teaching marketing courses at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels. </li><li>Experience in teaching through distance learning/online courses. </li><li>Evidence of past and current research activities that provide insights and applications that enhance student learning in a classroom setting. </li></ul> <p>To Apply:</p> <p>Click on the "Apply" button on the top right corner of the screen to complete an application and attach required documents.
