<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>This role will provide support for sustainability reporting, business analytics and sustainability initiatives across BBB Industries. The role will be responsible for support shaping the company's sustainability vision, quantifying the overall carbon footprint, developing key sustainability metrics, and owning sustainability reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership and customers. This position plays a pivotal role in developing and driving cross-functional initiatives to achieve company-wide sustainability goals.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Project Leadership and Project Management</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement board-approved sustainability targets, ensuring alignment with BBB's long-term goals. </li><li>Develop and initiate high-impact sustainability projects across multiple departments, ensuring seamless collaboration with local or international cross-functional, and cross-organization teams. </li><li>Continuously evaluate and refine global sustainability initiatives, ensuring they drive both sustainability outcomes and business value creation. </li><li>Host monthly discussions with Site Sustainability Leaders to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure consistent execution of sustainability objectives across all locations. </li></ul> <p>Carbon Emissions and Data Management</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain sophisticated carbon emissions data models for all sustainably manufactured products, ensuring accuracy and relevance to industry standards. </li><li>Own the categorization, quantification, and management of carbon emissions and sustainability impacts for all business units and customers. </li></ul> <p>Sustainability Reporting and Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Develop and own data collection, analysis, and reporting across the enterprise. </li><li>Lead sustainability reporting efforts, delivering clear and actionable insights via dashboards and reports to executives, customers, and external stakeholders. </li><li>Support the preparation of annual corporate sustainability reports, encompassing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and ensuring alignment with SASB and TCFD standards. </li><li>Support the implementation, roll-out, and management of BBB's compliance with statutory reporting requirements such as CSRD, CBAM, EPR, and others. </li></ul> <p>Education and Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Host the Global Internal Sustainability Education Initiative, which includes curating educational content and delivering sustainability training across global teams. </li><li>Promote employee engagement initiatives, including corporate sustainability events, to foster a culture of sustainability within the company. </li></ul> <p>External Collaboration and Business Development</p> <ul> <li>Provide impactful insights and data to support business development efforts and effectively communicate the sustainability impacts of BBB's products to customers. </li><li>Collaborate with industry associations to enhance the company's sustainability leadership and drive best practices across the industry. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Provide the Communications Director with sustainability-focused content for marketing campaigns to effectively communicate the benefits of remanufactured products. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement in sustainability processes and initiatives, staying abreast of industry trends and evolving best practices. </li></ul>
