Responsible for all phases of the Intake process including, but not limited to, answering calls from prospective patients, their families and referral sources, providing program, services information and triage, and to completing the intake process for admission.</p> <p>The Intake Specialist Supervisor exercises compassion, empathy, passion, and care in every interaction (calls, emails, texts, chats, etc.) while coordinating patient admission to a facility.</p> <p>Works in conjunction with all members of the treatment and all other necessary departments to facilitate seamless and timely admission to PaRC.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The statements below reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the position.</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the day-to-day functions and is the subject matter expert for the Intake team and process. </li><li>Responsible for auditing charts in KIPU ensuring accuracy for all intake requirements. </li><li>Setup, track and collect all payment arrangements (including patient accounts) and document accordingly in Intake Report. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining all the documentation involved with the Intake process. Including but not limited to verification of identification card (ID's), insurance card and/or prescription card, including scanning documents into KIPU. </li><li>Collect co-pay and deductibles. </li><li>Develop and maintain seamless communication and partnership with the clinical, medical, and nursing departments during and following the intake process. </li><li>Provide an orientation for release of information, confidentiality, and storage of valuables. </li><li>Provide an overview of Brookdale, answering questions related to their treatment experience. </li><li>Respond to inquiries from individuals, families and referring providers in a timely and professional manner and brief appropriate administrative, clinical and/ or medical staff on these matters. </li><li>Complete all consents as required and appropriate including legal, employer, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). </li><li>Coordinate Family Medical Leave Act paperwork and documentation with Patient Experience Manager. </li><li>Maintain consistent and accurate documentation through KIPU or other internal CRM and EMR systems, including but not limited to patient admission photograph. </li><li>Positively promotes Brookdale to prospective patients, families, and employees. </li><li>Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Shift times: Sunday - Monday 8 am - 4 pm and Tuesday through Thursday 3 pm - 11 pm</p> <p>For a virtual tour of the facility, please visit our website at www.parcbh.com</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required with college degree preferred. </li><li>One-year experience in healthcare admissions in the mental health or substance abuse field preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated computer proficiency.
