If you want to make a lasting difference then we encourage you to apply today!</p> <p>DESCRIPTION OF WORK</p> <p>As a Corrections Water Treatment Plant Foreman, you support the ongoing operation of a 1.2 million gallon capacity water treatment plant using solid knowledge and communication skills while working hands-on with inmates learning the standard principles of water treatment plant maintenance. This will include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operating, maintaining, and repairing pumps, valves, chlorinators, chemical feeders, compressors, laboratory equipment, and computer monitoring systems</p> </li><li> <p>Performing daily laboratory testing</p> </li><li> <p>Checking equipment calibration</p> </li><li> <p>Adjusting required chemical dosages and monitoring gauges, meters, and sensing devices</p> </li><li> <p>Updating tool and toxic supply inventory records</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring compliance with all Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) regulations</p> </li></ul> <p>Interested in learning more?
